Forest View Hospital in Grand Rapids is seeking a Per Diem Weekend Receptionist to greet visitors, operate the hospital switchboard, and assist with admissions. The role supports the hospital's mission and values through excellent service.

Qualified candidates will have strong communication skills, prior front desk or switchboard experience, and comfort working with psychiatric patients. Weekend shifts are required, with Saturday and Sunday 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Effective oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions while following hospital policy.
• Previous office/front desk or switchboard experience preferred.
• Comfort working with psychiatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Operates the hospital switchboard and directs calls to the appropriate person.
• Welcomes visitors and maintains a visitor log and procedures.
• Performs admission procedures and processes forms.
