Job summary

Brighton/Suncrest Hospice is seeking a Weekend Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care across a variety of settings, including private homes and facilities. You will handle admissions, visits, and symptom management while delivering compassionate hospice care.

The role requires current RN licensure, strong clinical and communication skills, and the ability to travel within the service area. Weekend shifts are 8 am to 5 pm. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in good standing in the state of practice.
• 1 year of nursing experience under license preferred.
• Admissions and On-call experience preferred.
• Works well in a team with nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers, and CNA leadership.
• Able to work independently and in a team with strong communication.
• Time management to schedule visits and complete documentation/meetings.
• Ability to learn an electronic medical records system.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance for area travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and services for hospice patients in homes, assisted living facilities, or hospitals.
• Complete hospice admissions and patient visits as needed.
• Answer calls from patients, families, and customers.
• Perform symptom management, end-of-life care, and admissions visits.
• Be a strong advocate for hospice services and Brighton/Suncrest Hospice.
• Anticipated schedule is 8a-5p Sat/Sun.
