Job summary

Brighton/Suncrest Hospice is seeking a Weekend Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver compassionate hospice care across our service area. You will visit patients in homes, assisted living facilities, or hospitals, perform admissions, and respond to patient and family needs.

The role requires an active RN license in Wisconsin, strong clinical and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple visits while coordinating with the care team. Weekend hours, typically 8a-5p, are expected.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in state of practice with good standing.
• One year of experience preferred (Admissions and On-call appreciated).
• Able to work in a team and coordinate with healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice care visits to patients in their homes or facilities.
• Complete admissions and arrange patient visits as needed.
• Answer calls from patients, families and caregivers; document visits and care plans.
• Conduct symptom management visits, patient deaths, and admissions as required.
• Possess reliable transportation to travel across the service area; ensure driver’s license and insurance.
