Job summary
Care Dimensions is seeking a Hospice Nurse for weekend Baylor shifts in the Boston area, delivering compassionate hospice and palliative care to patients in inpatient facilities, facilities, and homes.
The RN will work 24 weekend hours with pay and benefits reflecting 32 hours, with a $10 per hour premium. Requires MA RN license, ADN with preferred BSN, and at least three years of nursing, including acute care exposure. Driving required across assigned sites.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse licensed in Massachusetts in good standing.
- Associate's degree in nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum three years of varied nursing experience; acute setting preferred.
- Ability to assess and respond to patient/family needs and provide supportive care.
Responsibilities
- Visit routine hospice patients and perform hospice admission visits.
- Coordinate patient care with the interdisciplinary team to maximize comfort and health.
- Communicate with primary nurse and manager regarding patient needs and plans of care.
- Ensure documentation and handoffs are accurate and timely.
- Transport to patient homes/facilities as needed.
