Job summary

Circle of Life Hospice seeks a Contract Physician to cover weekends and gaps at inpatient units in Bentonville and Springdale. The physician will round on patients, assess new admits, and provide expertise in terminal illness care.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with Arkansas license
• Board certification or eligibility required
• DEA registration maintained and current

Responsibilities

• Make rounds on patients in inpatient units
• See new admits during coverage of inpatient units
• Provide medical expertise in hospice care: eligibility, disease and symptom management
• Direct medical care for hospice patients and educate regarding hospice care
• Guide hospice NP or nurses in direct patient care
• Maintain professional liability coverage and comply with policies
