Job summary

Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, AR seeks an experienced RN for 12-hour shifts (7-7) with rotating weekends/holidays. You will develop care plans in an interdisciplinary team, provide compassionate bedside care aligned to patient goals, and conduct regular assessments of physical and emotional needs.

Must hold an AR or Compact RN license without restrictions; hospice/gerontology experience preferred. EMR experience and reliable scheduling are essential.

Qualifications

• Current or pending AR or Compact RN license without restrictions.
• Prefer experience in home health, hospice, gerontology, geriatrics, acute or terminal care.
• Compassionate, sympathetic, responsible, and detail oriented individuals that can cope with human suffering.
• Strong documentation and communication skills; adherence to documentation standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, patients, and visitors and to exercise sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes plan of care within interdisciplinary setting.
• Provides compassionate bedside care with a focus on patient goals.
• Regularly completes assessments for physical and emotional needs.
• Provides supportive education, coaching, and guidance to family and loved ones.
• Utilizes nursing skills to support physician care and comfort.
• Educates patient and families about medical conditions and provides emotional support.
• Documents care, operates medical equipment, and administers medications.
• Assists CNA and LPN with duties and provides nursing guidance when necessary.
• Able to work independently and be accountable for completing tasks.
