Job summary

AdvisaCare is seeking an On-Call Weekend Hospice Nurse to provide compassionate care in Kent County and surrounding areas. The Troy office will be the parent agency and Friday through Sunday on-call schedule will apply.

The role includes triage calls, patient visits, tuck-ins, and admissions on weekends. A current Michigan RN license in good standing and hospice experience (preferred) are required, with empathy and flexibility for changing patient needs on call.

Qualifications

• Current Michigan RN License in good standing
• 1 year hospice experience preferred but not required
• Empathetic approach to patients and caregivers
• Participate in field visits daily, weekly office meetings as indicated
• Ability to adapt to patient’s status and needs on a weekend on call basis

Responsibilities

• Triage patient calls, make patient visits, preform tuck-ins, and do Admissions as needed.
