Job summary

TrinityHealth's Community Hospice is seeking a Weekend Track RN to join our Coding Team as a Hospice Coding Specialist. You will review and code hospice documentation, ensuring accuracy, regulatory compliance, and proper reimbursement while collaborating with providers and leadership.

This hybrid, full-time role offers weekend hours (Saturdays and Sundays 8:00 AM–8:00 PM), remote-friendly scheduling, orientation, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New York State.
• Associate degree in nursing; BSN preferred.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience, hospice/home care or acute care.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Review hospice clinical documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Code hospice documents to support regulatory and billing requirements.
• Identify coding opportunities and discrepancies and communicate with providers and leadership.
• Ensure compliance with applicable hospice regulations and payer requirements.
