Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Weekend Hospice Registered Nurse to join our patient-focused team. Based in Massachusetts, you will respond to referrals, triage calls, and coordinate nurse visits to initiate hospice care.

You will document in Epic, prioritize patient needs, and collaborate with the weekend Administrator On Call to ensure timely, compassionate care. A Massachusetts RN license and 2–3 years of hospice experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license in Massachusetts required or eligible.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2–3 years hospice experience.
• Excellent observation and problem-solving.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Responds to requests in a positive manner.
• Prioritize referrals based on hospice needs.
• Input initial information into Epic to begin admission.
• Triages patient calls and coordinates nurse visits.
• Collaborates with weekend Administrator On Call.
