Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System is hiring an RN Homecare Float Weekender Flex serving the West of I-77 in Independence. You will deliver patient-centered nursing care across diverse needs, with support and growth opportunities within one of the world’s most respected healthcare organizations.

This role focuses on absorbing evening and late-day visits, managing symptoms, wound care, education on antibiotics, and ensuring smooth care transitions.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN)
• Current RN licensure in Ohio
• BLS certification required
• Valid Ohio driver's license on hire and insurance coverage
• One year of current RN clinical experience
• One year of acute medical-surgical or home care experience

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care according to policies and protocols
• Monitor quality via chart audits and supervisory visits
• Support quality improvement projects and department committees
• Supervise starts and resumptions of care and routine visits
• Complete admissions assessments and reassessments in time frames
• Assess safety risks, abuse and neglect
• Coordinate multiple disciplines for well-coordinated care
• Assess and document patient pain and manage it
• Maintain complete, up-to-date documentation
• Escalate changes in patient condition to physician
