Job summary

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a Weekend Flex RN in Cleveland, OH, part of the Weekender Flex Program. Two 12-hour weekend shifts and one 12-hour weekday shift, full-time with benefits, in Cleveland Clinic facilities.

Pay ranges from $36 to $56 per hour, with day shifts and full-time status. This role emphasizes direct patient care, care planning, education and discharge planning in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN).
• 1+ year of current acute care RN experience; military RN experience considered.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.
