Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a Registered Nurse for a part-time weekend role in New Castle/Kent Counties, Delaware. The RN will perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and supervise LPNs and HHAs while ensuring timely documentation and communication with the care team.

• 1+ year of clinical experience as an RN.
• Current RN license for the assigned state(s).
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient assessments and collaborates with the care team to develop and implement a plan of care.
• Promotes patient health and independence through teaching and rehabilitative measures.
• Supervises LPNs and HHAs.
• Completes documentation timely and accurately.
• Regularly communicates patient progress to the clinical manager and care team.
• On-call responsibilities and participation in continuing education.
