UnitedHealth Group, through HomeCall (LHC Group), seeks a Weekend Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients in Washington County, MD, focusing on functional status, mobility, and pain management. The role follows a plan of care with an emphasis on improving well-being and independence.

The position offers flexible weekend schedules (Fri/Sat/Sun or Sat/Sun/Mon) and a comprehensive benefits package; requires PT licensure in the state and a valid driver's license, with CPR preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapy licensure in state of practice.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• Preferred: CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Evaluates patients' functional status and PT needs; assists in plan of care.
• Provides PT services within scope of practice and plan of care.
• Monitors and reports patient response to treatment to supervising nurse/physician.
• Treats patients to relieve pain and improve function; maintains maximum functioning.
• Educates patient/family on plan of care and progress toward goals.
• Visits patients as per Plan of Treatment and documents progress notes.
