Job summary

Adventist HealthCare is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for the Weekend Day Shift in Home Health, located in Silver Spring, MD. You will supervise field staff, document patient care, and plan and evaluate comprehensive patient care to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Requirements include an Associate’s degree in nursing (BSN preferred), 2 years of relevant full-time experience, Maryland RN licensure, and BLS certification. A valid driver’s license is also required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing is required.
• BSN is preferred.
• 2 years of full-time Medical/Surgical or facility nursing experience within the past 5 years.
• Valid Maryland RN licensure is required.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Valid Driver’s License with agency insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise field staff including Home Health Aides and LPNs.
• Attend mandatory and non-mandatory meetings regularly.
• Document patient care according to Federal and State regulations.
• Plan and evaluate comprehensive patient care.
• Assess factors impacting patient conditions and make appropriate interventions.
