Job summary

Adventist HealthCare's Home Health is seeking an experienced Admission Registered Nurse to cover the Silver Spring territory. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the home, document outcomes, and supervise Home Health Aides and LPNs.

Required: Maryland RN license, BLS, 2 years acute care experience, valid driver’s license, and willingness to pursue specialty certification as qualified. 40-hour work week with on-call as needed, full benefits included.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• 2 years of full-time acute care experience.
• Current Maryland RN license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance as required by agency.
• Specialty certification as qualified.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the home setting to achieve patient goals.
• Documentation of patient care and outcomes (electronic where applicable).
• Delegation and supervision of Home Health Aides and LPNs.
• Serve as a resource to new staff or students.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team in care planning.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and growth.
• Meet agency standards demonstrating flexibility and commitment.
