Human Touch Home Health in Washington, DC is hiring compassionate Home Health Aides (HHAs) for PRN weekend opportunities across the area. If you want weekend hours, extra income, or prefer Saturdays and Sundays, we want to hear from you.

As a Weekend HHA, you will support clients with personal care, mobility, meal prep, light housekeeping, and companionship in their homes, while following established care plans and maintaining independence for clients.

Qualifications

• Home Health Aide training or certification required.
• Previous home care or caregiving experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Weekend availability.
• Dependable and committed to scheduled assignments.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to follow an established plan of care.
• Ability to work independently in a client's home.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to assigned client locations.

Responsibilities

• Bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Toileting and personal care needs.
• Mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation.
• Meal preparation and feeding assistance.
• Medication reminders as permitted.
• Light housekeeping related to the client's care.
• Maintaining a clean and safe home environment.
• Companionship and emotional support.
• Following the established plan of care.
• Observing and reporting changes in the client's condition.
• Helping clients maintain their independence and dignity at home.
