Job summary

Capitol View Home Health Care is seeking compassionate Home Health Aides (HHAs) for PRN opportunities across Washington, DC. You’ll provide one-on-one client care, assist with daily living activities, meal prep, mobility, and companionship while respecting client dignity and independence.

Great scheduling flexibility with opportunities to pick up hours and focus on specific DC areas. CPR certification preferred, and prior home care experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Home Health Aide training or certification is required.
• Current CPR certification preferred/required.
• Compassionate and respectful approach to client care.
• Dependable and committed to scheduled assignments.
• Ability to work independently in a client's home.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, grooming, and personal care.
• Provide mobility, transfers, and positioning assistance.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Follow established plan of care and observe changes.
