Job summary

Human Touch Home Health is seeking compassionate Home Health Aides (HHAs) for PRN evening opportunities across Washington, DC. Choose shifts that fit your schedule: 4:00 PM–8:00 PM or 4:00 PM–12:00 AM, in Northwest, Northeast, Southeast, or Southwest DC.

Provide personal care, mobility assistance, meal support, and companionship in clients' homes. You'll join a supportive team and have the flexibility to pick up additional hours based on availability.

Qualifications

• HHA training or certification
• CPR certification
• Compassionate, patient and respectful
• Strong communication skills
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to travel to client locations

Responsibilities

• Bathing, grooming, dressing and personal hygiene
• Toileting and personal care
• Mobility, transfers, positioning and ambulation
• Preparing and assisting with evening meals
• Medication reminders as permitted
• Light housekeeping related to client care
• Evening routines and preparation for bed
• Maintaining a clean and safe home environment
• Companionship and emotional support
• Following the plan of care
• Observing and reporting changes in client's condition
• Helping clients remain safe and independent at home
