Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking an experienced per diem psychiatrist at Morristown Medical Center. Responsibilities include providing psychiatric coverage for Crisis Intervention Services and the Psychiatric Inpatient Unit, conducting urgent consultations, and collaborating with mental health professionals. Required qualifications include an MD or DO, with board certification or board eligibility in psychiatry, and an active New Jersey medical license. Qualifications

• MD or DO with board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry required.

• Experience in emergency or inpatient psychiatry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric coverage for Crisis Intervention Services on weekends and holidays.
• Deliver psychiatric care for the Psychiatric Inpatient Unit.
• Conduct urgent psychiatric consultations for inpatient medical-surgical cases.
• Collaborate with and support the Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurse.
