Atlantic Health System is seeking an experienced inpatient Physical Therapist for the Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, NJ. This per diem role offers time and expertise on various weekdays in the evenings, with a flexible start time after 1p and at least two weekend days per month.

Qualifications

• Experience in inpatient physical therapy in a large acute care facility.
• Team oriented with strong communication and documentation skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekend days as needed.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and formulate plans of care and treatment programs.
• Provide therapeutic interventions and patient/family education.
• Document interventions and ensure appropriate billing.
• Support lead clinicians in competency development and implementation.
• Participate in orientation of new staff and act as a clinical instructor for students.
• Exercise independent judgement on moderately complex cases with minimal supervision.
