Responsibilities

• Greets guests and seats them in a friendly, professional manner.
• Answers phones promptly and with enthusiasm.
• Maintains lobby and host/hostess station clean and organized.
• Records names on waiting list and coordinates seating with the dining area.
• Explains menu items and daily specials using suggestive selling techniques.
• Collects payments for carryout orders and gift certificates when applicable.
• Ensures guest satisfaction by following restaurant standards and policies.
• Reports to work on time, well groomed and properly attired.
