Job summary

Mercy Health Center seeks a part-time weekend Physical Therapist to perform assessments and design individualized treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients. The role includes direct supervision of rehabilitation technicians and general supervision of PT assistants in line with state practice acts.

Education requirements include a PT degree (BS/MS/DPT) with a current state license, and BLS certification. Six months to one year of rehab experience is preferred.

• Current license of Physical Therapy in the state of practice.
• BS, MS in Physical Therapy or DPT.
• BLS certification current.
• Six months to one year rehab experience preferred for adults/geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive PT plans for adults/geriatric patients.
• Provide direct supervision to rehabilitation technicians and supervise PT assistants where applicable.
• Support the Rehab Therapy supervisor and adhere to state practice acts and Mercy standards.
