Job summary

Mercy seeks a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to perform objective assessments and create comprehensive, individualized treatment programs for adults and geriatric patients. You will directly supervise patients and oversee rehabilitation technicians, with general supervision of PT assistants per State Practice Acts.

Must hold a current state license, and a Bachelor/Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy.

Qualifications

• Current State license of Physical Therapy.
• Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
• Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice.
• Six months to one year experience is preferred for Rehabilitation Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Performs objective assessments and comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Direct supervision to patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians.
• General supervision of PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts.

Education

Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy

Current/Temporary Physical Therapy licensure

BLS certification
