Job summary

Freight Breakers LLC is hiring for a part-time Freight Handler / Box Loader & Unloader in West Jordan, UT. The role covers weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) with day or night options and 12-hour shifts totaling about 24 hours per week.

This is an active warehouse position requiring reliability, physical stamina, and adherence to safety standards. Typical earnings are $16–$25 per hour, with higher pay for strong productivity.

Qualifications

• Must pass a required background check and drug screening.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation to the West Jordan worksite is required.

Responsibilities

• Load cartons into trailers and arrange freight safely and efficiently.
• Remove packages from incoming trailers and transfer onto conveyors.
• Scan shipments using handheld devices to ensure accurate tracking.
• Sort freight into cages and staging locations.
• Move cages and packages throughout the facility as needed.
• Maintain an orderly and safe work area.
• Follow warehouse procedures and safety requirements.
• Perform repetitive lifting and other physical tasks during shifts.
• Work as part of a team to meet daily productivity goals.
