Job summary

FedEx Supply Chain, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator I for the Friday - Sunday weekend shift.

You will safely operate Sit-Down/Stand Up forklifts and electric pallet jacks to receive, store, and fulfill orders, ensuring product safety, quality, and compliance throughout the process. The role emphasizes accuracy, attention to detail, and efficient material handling, with daily housekeeping, inspections, and adherence to OSHA rules to maintain a safe warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to operate powered basic material handling equipment, i.e. electric pallet jack and Stand-up/Sit down forklift.
• Must meet all PPE requirements.
• Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail and coordination.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, customer service driven.
• Strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload pallets and cases from trucks and conveyors, by hand or equipment.
• Operate forklifts and electric pallet jacks safely to move materials.
• Sort and build products on pallets to meet customer expectations.
• Apply shrink wrap to pallets using machinery.
• Maintain inventory accuracy with daily cycle counts and routine tasks.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Adhere to OSHA safety rules and company policies.
• Perform other duties as needed.
