Job summary

FedEx Supply Chain, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator I to safely operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts and pallet jacks for receipt, storage and order fulfillment. The role emphasizes product safety, quality, and regulatory compliance within an active warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, stacking, cycle counts, equipment checks, and adhering to strict safety rules. Uplifting benefits and competitive pay are included for eligible US employees.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to operate basic powered material handling equipment.
• Must meet PPE requirements.
• Strong sense of urgency and coordination.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload pallets and cases from trucks and conveyors.
• Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Sort and build products onto pallets to meet customer expectations.
• Apply shrink wrap to pallets using machinery.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance.
• Maintain storage location accuracy with daily cycle counts.
• Adhere to OSHA safety rules.
• Support additional distribution tasks as needed.
