Job summary

Valley View Milling Llc is seeking a Mill Operator to operate and monitor feed milling equipment, ensuring safety and product quality. You will run grinders, mixers, pellet mills, and conveyors while following mixing orders and delivery schedules.

Responsibilities include inspecting materials, recording production data, loading trucks, and performing routine maintenance. The role requires a high school diploma and a basic mechanical aptitude, with teamwork and safety awareness key to success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
• Experience operating feed mill or manufacturing equipment is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and quality focus.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Physical ability for standing, lifting and manual labor.

Responsibilities

• Operate feed milling machinery including grinders, mixers, pellet mills, and conveyors.
• Understand mixing orders and feed delivery schedules.
• Monitor equipment performance and adjust for quality/production.
• Inspect raw materials and finished products for quality and consistency.
• Load and unload trucks for appropriate orders.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and cleaning.
• Record production data such as batch sizes, machine settings, and QC results.
• Communicate with supervisors and maintenance staff about issues.
• Assist in troubleshooting malfunctions and coordinating repairs.
• Maintain clean and organized work area; assist in sanitation and upkeep.
• Follow safety protocols and company policies.
• Assist in mill and warehouse as needed.
