Job summary

NEW Cooperative, Inc. Iowa is seeking a safety‑minded team member to operate computerized batch mixing equipment, load-out systems, and related processes in our feed manufacturing facility.

You will support production, maintenance, and quality standards while delivering excellent service. This role requires forklift operation, basic math and mechanical skills, and the ability to work extended hours during busy seasons.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed and insurable to drive.
• High school diploma or GED with 1-3 months of related experience.
• Must be able to operate a forklift safely and effectively.
• Provide exceptionally high levels of customer service.
• Ability to read safety rules and procedure manuals; basic math and mechanical aptitude.
• Seasonal in-season time commitment and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Operate computerized batch mixing equipment, receiving and load-out equipment, micro-ingredient addition, and grinding equipment.
• Assist in other areas of the location as needed.
• Maintain inventory at desired levels and keep a clean work environment.
• Fulfills reporting and record-keeping requirements; follow quality standards.
• Use tools and vehicles carefully; work extended hours during busy seasons.
• Communicate with supervisor and team to address issues promptly.
