Job summary

Mountaire Farms in Westover, MD is seeking a production operator to manufacture feed in accordance with SOPs. You will monitor and operate computer automation systems to receive ingredients, grind grains, and mix and pellet feed, ensuring quality and safety standards.

The role involves assisting with ingredient receiving on 2nd and 3rd shifts, maintaining production paperwork, and complying with company policies and applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for manufacturing feed in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) established at the Feed Mill.
• Manages the operation of the computer automation systems required to receive ingredients, grind grains and mix and pellet feed.
• Helps with receiving (liquid, truck, rail) ingredients on 2nd and 3rd shifts.
• Operates processing equipment according to the established SOPs.
• Also responsible for daily paperwork which includes production paperwork.
• Responsible for compliance with all company policies and local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations.
