Job summary

Nox Metals in Detroit, MI is seeking a Factory Technician for the Weekend 2nd Shift to operate saws, CNCs, and material handling systems, load and inspect aluminum parts, and run forklifts and cranes. You will follow cut lists, verify data in our software, keep the floor clean, and focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement to help ensure on-time deliveries for customers.

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable or experienced in a factory/metals environment with bandsaws, CNC equipment, or skilled trades.
• Committed to safety with PPE and safe practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial saws, bandsaws, CNC equipment, and material handling systems.
• Load, measure, cut, and inspect aluminum plate, bar, and rounds to spec.
• Run forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Follow cut lists and production schedules with precision.
• Receive inbound material and verify against purchase orders.
• Package, label, and stage outbound shipments.
• Record cut data and job completions in our software systems accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work floor and prep for Monday.
• Ask questions and look for process improvements continuously.
