Job summary

Nox Metals in Detroit, MI is seeking a Factory Technician for the 2nd shift to operate saws, CNC equipment, and material handling systems, ensuring accurate cut specs and safe, efficient production. You will record data in our software, verify inbound materials, and keep the floor clean and organized while meeting tight delivery timelines.

Ideal candidates have metalworking experience, strong safety focus, and a can-do attitude to improve processes and support a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• Experience in a factory setting with metals or skilled trades is preferred.
• Commitment to safety, PPE, and preventing unsafe conditions.
• Attention to quality for each cut, cert, and shipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial saws, bandsaws, CNC equipment and material handling systems.
• Load, measure, cut, and inspect aluminum pieces to spec.
• Run forklifts and overhead cranes and follow production schedules.
• Record data and job completions in software accurately every time.
• Keep floor clean, organized, and ready for the next shift.
