Nox Metals in Detroit, MI is seeking a Factory Technician for the 2nd shift to operate saws, CNC equipment, and material handling systems, ensuring accurate cut specs and safe, efficient production. You will record data in our software, verify inbound materials, and keep the floor clean and organized while meeting tight delivery timelines.

Ideal candidates have metalworking experience, strong safety focus, and a can-do attitude to improve processes and support a fast-paced manufacturing

Factory Technician, Weekday 2nd Shift | Nox Metals | Detroit, MI

Nox Metals is a technology company in Detroit supplying metal. We use software and automation to supply metal to American factories faster than the industry thought possible.

Shift hours: Monday - Thursday, 5:30 PM to 4:00 AM.

You will:

• Operate industrial saws, bandsaws, CNC equipment, and material handling systems


• Load, measure, cut, and inspect aluminum plate, bar, and rounds to spec


• Run forklifts and overhead cranes


• Follow cut lists and production schedules with precision


• Take a clean handoff from 2nd shift and leave the floor ready for day shift


• Receive inbound material and verify against purchase orders


• Package, label, and stage outbound shipments


• Record cut data and job completions in our software systems, accurately, every time


• Always ask questions, never guess when something is unclear


• Look at every process and figure out how to make it better


• Keep the floor clean, organized, and ready for the next job


• Work safely every shift and hold your teammates to the same standard

You are:

• Knowledgeable or experienced in a factory, metals service center, bandsaws, industrial saws, CNC equipment, or skilled trades


• Committed to safety, you follow every protocol, wear your PPE, and never cut corners that put people at risk
