Job summary

Clean Harbors in La Porte, TX is seeking Weekend Facility Technicians to support warehouse operations. The role includes loading/unloading trucks, preparing waste shipments, reconciling inventory, and maintaining safety in a busy facility.

Shifts run Friday to Monday, 10 hours per day (6:30am–5:00pm). Pay is $20/hr, with benefits after 30 days of full-time employment and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of related labor and computer experience.
• Forklift skills preferred or willing to get certified.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload route trucks.
• Sort batteries and prepare loads for trucks.
• Work in the fuel and trailer loading areas.
• Maintain facility housekeeping and safety practices.
• Prepare waste loads for shipment to recycling/distribution centers.
• Manage inventory and receiving processes.

4 DAY WORK WEEK!!!

Clean Harbors located in La Porte, TX is seeking Weekend Facility Technicians to add to the team. The Weekend Facility Technician for La Porte TX will be responsible for completing all assigned warehouse duties in a safe and responsible manner. This includes loading/unloading trucks, preparing waste shipments, reconciling inventory, general housekeeping, and compliance with waste storage. This position will focus on loading. Position will start in the battery area sorting batteries, will learn the pumping and trailer loading areas once that area is mastered. During the winter will help with housekeeping projects in the facility which could include painting or other improvement items.

Shift:

Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday- 10-hour shifts. 6:30am-5:00pm

Pay:

$20/HR

• Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.

• Working in the trailer loading area, loading trailers.
• Housekeeping projects and improvement projects at the facility.
• Prepare waste loads for shipment to Recycle Center/Distribution Center.
