Job summary

Clean Harbors located in La Porte, TX is seeking a Pumping Technician to join the team. The Pumping Technician for La Porte TX will be responsible for completing all assigned warehouse duties in a safe and responsible manner, wearing Level C PPE and pumping drums with the pumping team.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts, working with chemical profiles, inventory and QC tasks, and general housekeeping. Shift is 6:30am-3:00pm, Monday-Friday, with overtime and Saturdays as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working in C Level PPE preferred.
• Experience working with chemical profiles preferred.
• Experience and familiarity with Excel, Word, etc.
• 2+ years of related labor and computer experience.
• Ability to drive trucks within facility.
• Forklift skills preferred or willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
• Load and unload route trucks.
• Wear level C PPE.
• Manual labor of drum washing.
• Pumping drums.
• Working with chemical profiles to identify matches to tankers.
• Uses forklifts routinely to sort pallets and unload.
• Uses camlock and hardlines to connect/disconnect tankers.
• Manage inventory order and receiving process.
• General housekeeping and keeping a clean work area.
• Ensure waste is stored in safe and proper manner.
• Resolve issues with materials in conjunction with office team staff.
• All other duties as assigned.

The Pumping Technician for La Porte TX will be responsible for completing all assigned warehouse duties in a safe and responsible manner. This position will wear C level PPE and work with the pumping team to pump drums. Will work in QC for chemicals, operating forklifts, manual labor, and inventory.

Shift: 6:30am-3:00pm. Monday-Friday. Overtime and Saturdays as needed

Pay: $21 DOE
