Job summary

Clean Harbors in La Porte, TX is hiring a Weekend Facility Technician to support warehouse duties with a focus on loading. Responsibilities include loading/unloading trucks, sorting batteries, inventory reconciliation, and waste preparation.

Winter tasks may include housekeeping and painting while the team learns pumping and trailer loading areas. The role runs Fri-Mon, 10-hour shifts, 6:30am-5:00pm, with a pay rate of $20/hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years of related labor and computer experience.
• Forklift skills preferred or willing to get certified.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by following safe work practices and policies.
• Load and unload route trucks.
• Sort batteries.
• Prepare loads in the fuel area for trucks.
• Load trailers in the trailer loading area.
• Perform housekeeping and improvement projects in the facility.
• Prepare waste loads for shipment to recycling centers/distribution centers.
• Manage inventory order and receiving process.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Ensure waste is stored safely and properly.
