Job summary

The Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana (RHI) is seeking an Environmental Services Technician - PRN to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Weekend availability is required, with shifts typically between 7:00am and 2:30pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

As an EVS Team Member, you will follow HIPAA hospital-wide policies, perform cleaning duties in assigned areas, prepare sanitized patient spaces, and contribute to outstanding customer service across the

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or hospital is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete all cleaning duties in assigned areas within the time allotted.
• Responsible for sweeping, dust mopping, and damp mopping floors, rooms, hallways, entrances, stairways, etc.
• Prepare sanitized beds for new patients, including the correct placement of bed linens.
• Dust, wash, sponge, mop, sanitize, and shampoo furniture, clean and polish glass surfaces.
• Other duties as assigned
