Job summary

Catholic Charities of Baltimore's Gallagher Services program is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) who values people for who they are and is excited to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in residential and community settings. Pay range: $20 - $20.50 per hour, depending on years of experience and certifications.

We are looking for compassionate, energetic, and reliable Personal Support Staff to provide one-on-one support, with a schedule including

Qualifications

• Two years of experience supporting people with developmental disabilities.
• Ability to work in home and community settings with a person-centered approach.
• Capable of maintaining accurate documentation and reporting changes timely.

Responsibilities

• Provide ADL, health, and safety support while promoting dignity and independence.
• Support goals from the Person-Centered Plan and document progress.
• Monitor health, safety, and environmental concerns and report incidents promptly.
• Assist with medication-related tasks within scope and ensure safety.
• Encourage rights, self-advocacy, and community inclusion.
• Provide transportation and travel support as required.
• Maintain confidentiality and proper documentation within timelines.
