Job summary

PetVet Care Centers' Western Carolina Regional Animal Hospital & Veterinary Emergency Hospital in Flat Rock, NC is seeking a Veterinary Technician on weekend shifts. You will provide dedicated quality care, assist during surgery, manage patient records, and deliver exceptional service to pets and clients.

The role requires RVT/CVT/LVMT/LVT credentials, ER and anesthesia experience, and at least 5 years of hospital experience. Full-time weekend schedule, with a sign-on bonus up to $1,000.

Qualifications

• Must be a RVT/CVT/LVT/LVMT or equivalent licensed veterinary technician.
• ER experience required.
• Anesthesia experience required.

Responsibilities

• Determine animal requirements by performing examinations and reviewing care plans.
• Care for patients by taking vital signs, administering meds, and monitoring condition.
• Assist during surgery and procedures with proper supplies and anesthesia support.
• Maintain medical records and communicate with pet owners as directed.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper handling of equipment and facilities.
