PetVet Care Centers' Western Carolina Regional Animal Hospital & Veterinary Emergency Hospital in Flat Rock, NC is seeking a Veterinary Technician (Weekend Shifts). Sign-on bonus up to $1,000 based on experience for credentialed technicians.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older to apply.
• Must hold RVT/CVT/LVT/LVMT license.
• ER experience required.
• Anesthesia experience required.

Responsibilities

• Determine animal requirements by exams, care plans, lab tests, and imaging.
• Care for patients including vital signs, meds, vaccines, and wound care.
• Assist during examinations and surgeries; prepare supplies and restrain patients as directed.
• Maintain accurate medical records and document patient conditions and changes.
• Communicate with pet owners about patient status as directed by the veterinarian.
• Maintain equipment and inventory; perform routine preventive maintenance.
