Small Animal Emergency Services in Vass, NC is seeking a skilled veterinary technician to join our fast-paced emergency hospital. The role includes triage, sample collection, radiography, anesthesia management, and nursing care for critical patients while communicating treatment plans clearly to clients.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience, a current RVT credential if possible, and a willingness to work overnights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of veterinary technician experience.
• Registered veterinary technician preferred.
• Excellent client communication and medical record management.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced ER setting.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Triage incoming patients and assist with urgent care.
• Perform lab work, collect samples, and communicate results.
• Support diagnostic imaging, anesthesia administration, and nursing care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and client communication.
• Assist in surgical preparation and post-operative monitoring.
