Job summary

Scotland Memorial Hospital’s Emergency Department is seeking a full-time RN to join our fast-paced ED team. You will triage, assess, and coordinate care for diverse patient populations in a high-acuity setting.

Requirements include current NC or Multistate RN licensure and CPR; ER or critical care experience is preferred. Certifications in Emergency Medicine are desirable, with PALS/ACLS and de-escalation training expected within 3 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Current NC or Multistate RN licensure; CPR.
• Preferred at Hire: Nationally recognized certification in Emergency Medicine.
• 1 Year RN experience in hospital setting, ER or Critical Care preferred.
• Minimum: PALS, ACLS, AEGIS De-Escalation Training within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Triage and initiate accurate and ongoing assessments of physical and psychosocial problems in the ED.
• Communicate with physicians and team members to ensure timely patient care.
