Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a Universal Worker for weekend-only, part-time hours in a resident care setting. You will assist with basic care tasks, maintain cleanliness, and support activities and outings as needed.

The role emphasizes safety, responsiveness to changes in resident conditions, and collaboration with the care team. CPR certification is required, and on-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• Completion of some high school or equivalent courses.
• On-the-job training provided; no prior experience required.
• Active and unexpired CPR certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; CNA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with care needs including toileting, ambulation, bathing, dressing and personal hygiene.
• Report changes in resident condition to supervisor promptly.
• Assist in dining room during meals and set up, serve, and clean tables.
• Help residents attend scheduled activities and appointments.
• Handle housekeeping, laundry, trash, and overall apartment cleanliness.
• Take vital signs and weights when required.
• Use gait belt, lifts and equipment as directed by care team.
• Respond to call lights promptly and manage pagers/keys/radios.
