Qualifications

• High school graduate.
• Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Cardiac Ultrasound preferred.
• Registry by Cardiovascular Credentialing International/National Board of Cardiovascular Testing, American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.

Responsibilities

• Identify patient per hospital policy using two identifiers.
• Perform/assist in transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echo exams.
• Document results in the echo reporting system and participate in QA/PI activities.
• Cross-train for EKGs, holter and event monitor placements and stress testing.
