Job summary

Proctoring and participation in quality initiatives are expected, with emphasis on patient safety and teamwork. Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and ultrasound physics is essential, and ARDMS RDCS

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with on-the-job cardiac ultrasound training or equivalent.
• ARDMS certification or registry within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operates transthoracic and stress echocardiography imaging per protocol for adult/geriatric patients.
• Reviews history and supporting clinical data to optimize diagnostic results.
• Performs patient meet/greet, prepares patient, monitors wellbeing during tests, and documents findings.
• Provides proctoring/training to fellows, students, or new hires as needed.
• Participates in performance improvement initiatives and adheres to safety and department policies.
