Griffin Health is seeking a Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist for a part-time on-site role in Derby, CT. Under supervision of a Cardiologist, you will perform transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms, stress tests as needed, and operate the echocardiography equipment to assess cardiac function.

Requirements include an AS degree or RDCS/RCS certification and CPR. Minimum 12 months of full-time clinical cardiac ultrasound experience is expected. EOE.

Qualifications

• Certification or A.S. degree from accredited institution.
• RDCS from ARDMS or RCS from CCI required.
• CPR certification required.

MAIN FUNCTION: Under the general supervision of a Cardiologist, and according to previously defined procedures, operates an echocardiogram machine to record cardiac functions. In addition, performs transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms when needed. Performs stress echocardiography assessment when needed.

EDUCATION: Certification or A.S. degree from accredited institution, Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from CCI is required. CPR required..

EXPERIENCE: Twelve (12) months of full-time clinical cardiac ultrasound experience.
