Job summary

Essential Services LLC is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide person-centered care in clients' homes and communities. You will assist with daily living activities, implement ISP goals, and support clients' growth in an active, respectful environment.

Ideal candidates are compassionate, reliable, with strong interpersonal skills, and able to work weekends. Transportation, a valid license, and DHS background check are required for this role.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prior caregiving or DSP experience preferred.
• Available to work weekends.
• Own reliable transportation to transport clients.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance (100k/300k liability).
• Smartphone with internet access for documentation.
• Must pass a DHS background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered care and support in clients' homes and communities.
• Assist with daily living activities and ISP goals.
• Support community engagement and safe, reliable transportation.
• Maintain safety and clear, timely documentation and reporting.
• Assist with lifting and physical tasks as required.
