Covenant Case Management Services is seeking a compassionate Direct Support Professional to provide weekend Community Living Support and Respite care for an individual with IDD. You will assist with daily living, accompany to community activities, and collaborate with family to tailor care.

This part-time weekend position emphasizes safety, adherence to care plans, and teamwork with a supportive staff to empower the individual’s independence.

Formación

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Required).
• Experience: 1 year of caregiving or direct support preferred.
• Driver’s license: Valid North Carolina license and reliable transportation (Required).

Responsabilidades

• Provide daily living support including personal care, meal prep, and independence goals.
• Guide community integration through outings and social activities to promote inclusion.
• Collaborate with family to understand routines, goals, and care preferences.
• Maintain open communication with coordination team for progress and schedule changes.
• Follow state care standards and health and safety protocols.
