Job summary

LEL Home Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide hands-on care in clients' residences, following the ISP and policy guidelines. You will document progress, assist with daily living tasks, and help individuals participate in their communities with safety and respect.

The role requires flexible availability including evenings and weekends, and involves transporting clients as needed, while maintaining accurate records and complying with training requirements.

Qualifications

• Meets Direct Support Professional requirements and background policy.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to work evenings, weekends and flexible hours.
• Knowledge of intellectual or developmental disabilities and supportive approaches.

Responsibilities

• Implement services outlined in the Individual ISP for each client.
• Submit daily activity documentation per LEL policies.
• Be punctual and report absences to the Program Manager.
• Assist with daily living activities and community engagement.
• Transport clients and ensure safety during community outings.
