Job summary

Easter Seals of Tennessee is seeking Direct Support Professionals to help people with disabilities learn, work, and enjoy life in their communities. Based in our person-supported homes, DSPs provide caregiver support with daily activities and may assist with community involvement and therapy plans.

We offer weekend day and night shifts, competitive starting pay, a shift premium on weekends, and comprehensive benefits including health insurance and life/long-term disability coverage.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Must have valid automobile insurance.
Basic computer skills.
Pass a background and drug screen.

Responsibilities

Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene and medication administration.
Support individuals in the community and at the person-supported home.
Facilitate participation in therapeutic and behavioral plans with clinical staff.
