Job summary

McCormick & Company, Incorporated is seeking full-time Distribution Technicians for the Maryland Logistics Center (MLC) in Sparrows Point, MD. Candidates should bring a strong work ethic, solid technical skills, and teamwork ability to support warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• Accurate clerical and numerical skills; ability to read, interpret, and follow complex procedures.
• Ability to learn to operate a variety of equipment, including a motorized pallet jack and battery charging system.
• Ability to work where performance against standards is constantly measured; communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Picking/packing/staging all customer orders in a timely and accurate manner using RF scanner and VMC.
• Operate a variety of industrial equipment such as motorized pallet jacks, wrappers, pallet flippers, and dispensers as needed.
• Use a computerized inventory system and document safety, quality, and performance standards.
• Conduct general warehouse duties including sanitation, required training, and audits.
• Attend team/startup meetings and participate in special projects.
